In St. Clair County, Michigan, organizers are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Canadian Appreciation event for 2014.  This year’s event has been expanded from a one day celebration, to a full weekend event, taking place Saturday, May 17 through Monday, May 19.

Marci Fogal, President of the Blue Water Area Convention and Visitors Bureau feels Canadian Appreciation Day is a perfect tie-in with the Pure Michigan campaign.  Pure Michigan is targeting Ontario Canada with a $2 million dollar budget.  The “Discover the Blue” campaign is a Pure Michigan Partner working to gain exposure to the Canadian market.
