A Lifetime of Learning
We live in an age when learning never ends, and St. Clair County offers access to a truly outstanding community college as well as proximity to several of the Midwest’s finest research universities.
St. Clair County Community College (SC4), situated on a 25-acre campus on the banks of the Black River in downtown Port Huron, serves nearly 4,500 students. CollegeMeasures.org ranks SC4 among the best of the nation’s medium-sized colleges in areas such as academic support, student services and percentage of degree completions. SC4’s University Center offers transfer programs with the University of Michigan-Flint, Ferris State University, Madonna University and Walsh College.
The Baker College system, with more than 35,000 students across Michigan, has two campuses in Port Huron. The main campus on the west side of town offers a variety of degree programs for students of all ages and circumstances.
