Small Projects

The Community Foundation of St. Clair County has initiated a Small Business Incentive Program in downtown Port Huron. The grant funds are made available through the Community Resource Center which is an affiliate company of the Community Foundation of St. Clair County. The business incentives may be in the form of low interest, zero inters or partially forgivable loans. Before you apply for this program, you must:
- Have a business plan with a three year projected budget
- Have secured the majority of your financing from other sources
- Identified the specific building or location for you new business
- Have a written list of the challenges or impediments that your business faces in its first year
- Be willing to undergo a complete criminal and financial background check
