2016 I-69/Thumb Regional Wage and Benefit Survey
The St. Clair County edition of the 2016 Regional Wage and Benefit survey is available for $75.00. This edition includes two reports:
1) St. Clair County, Michigan, results (only)
2) I-69 International Trade Corridor and I-69/Thumb Regional report results.
The I-69 report includes results from Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer and St. Clair Counties. The I-69/Thumb regional report includes results from four counties listed above, as well as Sanilac, Huron, and Tuscola counties.
With a total of 122 regional responses, this report provides valuable insight into compensation policies and practices among IT, logistics/transportation, manufacturing and other sectors. Details include trends in benefits, holiday and leave, insurance, wages and hiring forecasts. The manufacturing sector represented 76% percent of the respondents this year. Survey findings indicate that 90.5% of St. Clair County Companies participating anticipate hiring this year, up from 86.2% two years ago. In St. Clair County, 95.2% of respondents offer health insurance to full-time employees. Meanwhile, 80.5% of St. Clair County employers also offer retirements plans to full-time employees. The national average is 81%, according to 2015 BLS data.
